The WNBC Newsroom will always have a special place in my heart. It was my first job after college, and where I spent the latter half of my college days as an intern. I built their first-ever social producer role, fact-checked and field-produced many stories, interviewed mayors and Yankees players, and spent countless hours on the phone with the NYPD & FDNY. Above all, WNBC is where I found my voice, frequently needing to stand up and shout out the latest information to the Editor in Chief. WNBC taught me how to speak up, how to work at an insanely fast pace (thank you, breaking news), and, honestly, to dream big.
